How are the ecto drops at Tombs these days?

I just got back from a Tombs run (which I haven't done in months). Only one ecto dropped for our group and it got me wondering. Since B/P groups farm the place left and right nowadays the greens aren't worth very much anymore, but have the ecto drops became scarce for the same reason as well?

If someone with a lot of recent Tombs experience could elaborate, it'd be great. How many ecto drops do you usually see? Also, all the chests were purple today, does that happen often?

One out of every three runs sees an ecto drop for someone in my party (virtually always at that first Dryder mob, interestingly enough); one out of every three chests turns out gold.

...To be honest, though, that's pretty consistent with what I'd been seeing before Factions came out. I don't think there's been much of a change.

me and my roomate have been doing 55/SS runs. fairly well and living rich!! atleast 2 ects per run. so its worth in ways.

euhm, farming Tombs with a 55 ? All those guys have Fingers of Choas that rapes every monk enchant. And if you do it with a necro they get rid of their SS .
I doubt its doable with a 55.
