Took a break for quite awhile to run some other games. Pre-ordered Factions, but couldn't seem to get into it. Getting into it now, and also starting a new Prophesies character. This is where the "no monthly fee" aspect pays off.

But I may opt out of chapter 3 untill I can get the 15K Tryrian amor for certian char.s I am still in limbo about my Warriors.

Been taking a break. The next few days will decide whether I stay or go.

Staying With Guild Wars: 61
Quitting Guild Wars: 8
Considering Leaving Guild Wars: 21
Taking A Break From Guild Wars: 10

A ratio of roughly 30:4:10:5 or an approximation of 6:1:2:1
For every 2 people staying there is 1 person quitting or considering it.

Cleaned thread up. It's a poll, people. If it gets closed, it'll get closed. But otherwise, off-topic posts are still off-topic, and trolling other posters is still not allowed.

If you have issues with a thread's existance, please stick to using the 'report post' button, and the moderators will review it. We do have a policy against 'I'm leaving' threads due to their highly 'flammable' nature, and this one is borderline, so is under such consideration.

However, that by no means gives posters free reign to do whatever they want in it.

Just to dissuade some potential complaints about deletions, I'd like to point out that while most of the removed posts were complaints about the thread, some of the removed posts were actually support for the thread, but in a... less than favourable way.

6:1 ratio works for staying to quitting but I also included people who considered quitting as well as those quitting which is a ratio of 61:29, about 2:1.

Anyways, I'm staying for now, pending how Nightfall shakes out. If it's like Factions, see ya. If it's like Proph, hell yeah. But crap like mm nerf, warrior nerf, and the factions CE pre-order debacle has me doubting the purity of their intentions.

All those who say they are quitting - I dare you to give all your plat and ecto and everything valuable to some new players in pre-searing and delete all your PvE characters. Go on, show us you mean it.

Considering Leaving Guild Wars, because there expansions are not worth paying $49.99, because just like 2 big things in them new items and new big mode, should be $39.99. And its too hard, because GW keeps making things more difficult, I barely stand on my own feet, unlike 7 months ago.

I'm staying since I still like the game. I dont let little changes bother me enough to want to quit. If I ever quit it would be because I've moved on or just simply outgrown or got bored of the game.

But for the record, I'd like to point out that this thread is a thinly disguised complaint thread about the recent changes....we've already got tons of those already. This isnt a real poll unless someone is actually keeping track of the votes.

As in leave the game forever =D, which Anet doesn't want because theyll get less sales in the next chapter.

Ah good man. Missed your post buried in all the others....so the question is, why isnt there a real polling option where everyone can see the results more easily?

Also keep in mind that most threats to quit are empty. I've seen countless people declare how they're quitting but I still see them around. It's not very effective to quit a game with no monthly fee....it's not quite as permanent.

Very true. Keep in mind, the numbers dont actually reflect what's happening, just what is being said and don't represent the whole Guild Wars community, just the Guild Wars Guru community that chose to take part in this poll. If that's all we can go by then so be it
