OK i am not new to GW i hav had it since october and i keep seeing all these people in droks spamming: WTS GOLD UNID Platinum Bade .... and i would love to know where the best spot to farm these are ty...

as far as i know, platinum weapons can be found anywhere in factions. ive seen them drop in the kaineng area, from a chest in the jade sea, and i *believe* ive seen one drop in the echovald forest. <.<

not sure about shing jae tho.

and i doubt they drop in elite missions.

same counts for raisu palace..but im not sure o.o

Actually my platinum blade dropped in raisu palace. - at the top of the first flight of
stairs where a boss is
no body wanted to buy it though so I salavaged off the +20% longer enchantments and sold it through auction (it was the only mod it had)

i know what the blade looks like, and i think it looks cool, while oni blade is fugly =\
I just said i never seen it drop, nor any other plat weapon...

I can confirm that Platinum blades etc, drop in the echovald forrest. ;D

had one that drop out side of Lut Conservatory while farming faction.

I know for a fact that platinum weapons can drop anywhere on the main island on cantha... im not sure about shing jea island or elite missions.

Platinum skinned weapons can indeed drop on the Shing Jea Island; I know this from personal experience. Though, I have only ever seen them drop from the higher-level foes found in the Crimson Skull encampments. So far, I have had multiple Platinum Longbows drop for me in those locations. Have not yet seen a Platinum Blade there, but I assume that it is possible.

A yeti in Sunqua Vale dropped me a Platinum wand once.

I personally think they look terrible and Oni Blades are much better. Guardian henchie, btw.

I had a gold platinum longbow drop when MM'n for some people in the Last Stand...it had decent mods for such a low level gold o_O
